A domain transfer moves a domain to another registrar without changing its owner. For .RU and .РФ it requires a request from the registrant; for international zones it uses an authorisation (EPP) code.
International domains usually cannot be transferred within 60 days of registration or a previous transfer. Avoid starting a transfer when the registration is about to expire.
Save your DNS records before the transfer. If the name servers change too, recreate the zone in its new location first so the website and email keep working.
